Cat 5 cyclist on Cycling News.

The good folks at Cycling News did a nice recap of the NAHBS show.  The Inglis/Retrotec write up is the fourth one down.  Here's a few pics from the article.

snow bike fenders - in progress

Here are a few pics that I stole from Curtis' flickr page.  These were taken at the Inglis/Retrotec factory in Napa when we were fitting the fenders to the bike.  You can see from the pics that the fenders are not sealed yet - the idea was to fit the fenders and then drill the brackets - then seal em.  After a late night of precision drilling I brought them back to my studio, added another snowflake (to the rear fender) and snow plow image (to the front) then sealed them with three layers of Spar Varnish.

Snowbike fenders for NAHBS/IN

Curtis Inglis asked me to make a pair of fenders for a customer's snowbike which was going to be on display at the NAHBS.  As with most projects this one came down to the wire for me.  So close that I never got any pics of the completed fenders mounted on the bike.  So all I can provide you with is a link to the good folks at Dirt Rag, who did an excellent job photographing the bike. Thanks.

1st pair

Here are some pics of the first pair that I made.  I've since started providing stainless hardware for all fenders.  Also - in case you're wondering, I'm from Jersey.
